This is the original game jam version of Sheet Job, released in August 2026.
The game has since continued development with new visuals, progression, balance, and polish.

Your job is simple: process the tasks. Then process more tasks. Then figure out how to stop doing it yourself.

Sheet Job is a short first-person automation sandbox about repetitive office work. Earn coins, unlock increasingly questionable tools, glue things together and build ridiculous machines to keep the workflow moving.

Start by carrying tasks with your own hands. End by standing back and watching a barely functional contraption do your job for you.

For the best experience, please use the Windows build.

Work. Optimize. Repeat.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is already reported but I'll mention it anyway. there's a bug(?) where (I think) the blue coin somehow counts towards the combo.

The reason why I believe this is the case is because during my playthrough, I've made a conveyer belt system that goes from the start all the way to the end for automatic shredding. but then something happened and I start gaining a TON of combo, I think I went up to 6500~ something combo, and it cause the game to lag out.

I don't think it's any of the item that goes into the shredder that cause it to freak out because I was cleaning up the area and one of the item cause the conveyer belt to clog up, so whatever it is that causes the shredder to give me tons of combo isn't part of the random stuff in the office (like the potted plant or chairs).

The only logical conclusion I could make is the coin that piled up high causes the newly spawned blue coins to fall back into the shredder, which counts as a combo and spew more coins due to the upgrade which falls again and increasing the combo to produce more coins.

thanks for the report! yep, it’s a bug with the coin count in the combo. i’ve fixed it in the new version, which will be released alongside the content expansion

I really enjoyed this and i hope the game gets bigger and more things to do. 👍🏻

  • sensitivity max is not high enough, still felt sluggish
  • columns dont count as a surface for glue gun
  • pistol's "holding" stance got stuck in "mag check" position, guess i bugged the animation
  • dont think im using rotator right, or it just doesnt work
  • when item gets shredded while in your hands - item dissapears, but game still thinks you're holding something. Workaround is trying to grab something else
  • conveyor placement hitbox could be increased a bit for safety, because when i was trying to place them closer - the other one just YEETED it xd
  • medical injury costs, while showing that they're 33% of money on hand, actually takes 100%
  • Why box shred reward is higher than its cost? You can beat the game in 3 MINUTES with it:
    • buy first upgrade
    • grind 170$ with office props (should take <40) near shredder
    • buy creation gun
    • spawn boxes inside the shredder
    • buy coin auto-collect
    • autoclicker
    • you're winner
    • bruh

movement/physics are a bit sluggish for my taste but it was a decent time sink

wow! thanks for letting me know! i'll definitely fix some of the bugs in the next update

the costs for healing injuries then fall out of the hole as coins, but I'll check that out

flipped a conveyor upside down couldnt seem to figure out a way to flip it back or get rid of it

(+1)

Q + mouse wheel, can rotate upside down

(+2)

GREAT GAME

(1 edit) (+2)

this game is awesome but it's a bit laggy do you think you could make the task gen have a button to stop it so it won't lag so much

(+2)

How does the glue gun work it wont let me rotate it on the correct way

(+1)

nice game

(+1)

also as the game is this much interactable u could add to open the drawers, so u can put tasks in them and make a good combo

(+2)

nice game, if i can have a suggestion it would be to be able to link the conveyor belt, and obviously get more upgrades and make the game longer.

pls sensitivity option

(+1)

No save function? I'm fuming

save function added with new rooms, i think

lost my progress so a bit late for that

sorry ;_;

we need some chill out office music :) i did not understand the rotators. it was a lot of fun.

Rotators is just wip item, yep, Music is coming soon!

But how to place or do i have to rotate with the mouse wheel?

you just need to glue it anywhere with a glue gun, and it will start spinning. with a glue gun, you can glue a variety of objects together, including attaching and spinning

Got it, but hard to use for something.

yea, game was supposed to be about building Goldberg machines, but I'm not sure about that yet

(+1)

Some gameplay, a hint of critique ;)

(+1)

Thanks! it's really usefull for me

This is so cool! I really loved it, I completed the level in around an hour, I would love for this to have more tools and objects.

(+2)

I have a teaser :)

The idea is cool, but there’s still a lot that could be improved. For example:

  1. Add the ability to unlock new office rooms.
  2. Improve the destruction physics.
  3. Add some fun office-style background music.
  4. Make the game’s tutorial/guidelines clearer.
  5. The gun isn’t very good at picking up objects — take inspiration from the Gravity Gun in Garry’s Mod.
  6. Add some lore and motivation. For example, maybe you got fired and decided to come back late at night to trash the office, or something along those lines. It would give the player a reason for what they’re doing.

These are just the things that stood out to me right away. You should also think about what else could be improved to make this a game people would want to play for hours.

Good luck! I hope everything works out. 4/5 for now, with the expectation that you’ll keep improving the game and polish it to the point where you’d be proud to show it to your friends.

Thanks of feedback! I'm already in the process of working on almost all the points
